The Israeli military started to issue plans to ready itself for next week’s confrontation with Palestinian protesters, as the weekly March of Return protests mark a one-year anniversary.
According to reports in Israeli media, the number of troops stationed on the border could be doubled over the next week.
On the other side, Gazans were promising continuous escalation in the wake of Friday’s protests in which at least 2 Palestinians died, and 62 more were injured, according to Gaza’s health ministry.
