Israel Strikes Back At Syria After Being Hit By Mortars

The IDF announced on Friday evening that it had attacked the sources of three mortars fired into the northern Golan Heights earlier that day.

An alarm sounded shortly after 6pm in the Golan area where two mortars landed in Israeli territory. The IDF reported that there were no casualties and no damage was caused by any of the mortars.

In a statement, the army said, “The IDF will not tolerate any attempt to harm the sovereignty of the State of Israel or the security of its residents and will see the Syrian regime responsible for what happens within its territory.” Read more at YNet.
