An Israeli rights group says that it is suing Facebook for $1 billion on behalf of families of American victims of Palestinian attacks, the AP reports.
The Shurat Hadin group says Facebook is violating the U.S. Anti-Terrorism Act by providing groups such as the Islamic terrorist Hamas group with a platform for spreading violence.
The five families in the lawsuit lost relatives in attacks over the last two years. Four were dual Israeli-American citizens while one victim was an American tourist.
