The man who admitted to kidnapping and killing 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison.
After Judge Firetog asked Levi Aron if had anything to say about killing Leiby, Levi Aron responded with just one word: “No.”
The 36-year-old admitted killing Leiby after the boy asked him for directions, and pleaded guilty earlier this month.
Leiby got lost on his way to day camp last July, the first time he had been allowed to walk alone. He was supposed to travel about seven blocks to meet his mother but missed his turn.

What does “40 years to life in prison” mean?
40 Years means he is out at 76!! is that life?? does he get parole??
doesnt this ruthless murderer deserve at least 150 years like Madoff?? killing an innocent little boy in the most horrible way is less of a crime then stealing money??
So he’s gonna be out before Rubashkin? Oy, what a shanda.
At the age of 76 he can still do it again
If can keep an eye on him in 40 years in my upper 90s I’YH, I’ll be happy to do it
Why is this animal wearing a yarmulka???
i hope he doesn’t come out of jail
i think 40 years isn’t enough
everyone should learn a mishnah for our dear Leiby
WHY 40 YEARS?? He is DANGEROUS, it should be a given that he is away for LIFE SENTENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They usealy dont live to even near that age in prison.
baruch hashem
is all i can say
but after all he is a Yid, and we do have to have rachmonus on him
even according to halacha he wouldn’t be sentenced to death
this is horrible!!!!!!!!! he deserves much more!!!!! the only thing i cud think of is that he will get it up there were its much worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#9 on exactly what basis do we have to have rachmanus for him?
