U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley on Sunday said a chemical attack similar to that seen recently in Syria could “easily” happen in the U.S. if the government is “not smart” about chemical weapons.
Speaking on Fox News today, Haley said President Trump’s airstrikes against the Syrian regime on Friday were part of a strict policy on the use of any chemical weapons. “This very easily could happen in the United States if we’re not smart, and if we’re not conscious of what’s happening,” Haley said. “We have to be very conscious of the fact that we cannot allow even the smallest use of chemical weapons. That’s why you saw the president strike this past weekend, that’s why you saw him expel sixty Russian spies after the attack in Salisbury,” she said. Read more at FOX NEWS.
