pot-marijuanaThe Big Apple may soon light up with less fear. The NYPD and Mayor Bill de Blasio are set to implement a new policy that would stop cops from arresting people for low-level possession of marijuana. Instead of arrests, New Yorkers caught with weed will be issued a summons.

De Blasio and Commissioner Bill Bratton are set to announce the details of the new policy later. Read more.
