The evening prior to his heralded interview with President Trump in Indiana – which aired on Thursday – FOX & Friends anchor Pete Hegseth had dinner in La Brochette kosher steakhouse in Manhattan with a group of dignitaries, hosted by the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce.
Duvi Honig, Founder and CEO of the Chamber, and Dr. Joseph Frager, Executive VP of the Chamber’s Public Policy Committee, led an intriguing discussion with Mr. Hegseth on a variety of key issues. In particular, the two Chamber leaders focused on healthcare reform and tax reform, two top items on the president’s agenda. They elaborated upon the current predicament facing working class families, where the tax code and prohibitive cost of private health insurance discourage many breadwinners from working to increase their incomes. Mr. Hegseth listened intently.
“Influencing public policy to benefit hard workers and business owners has always been a top priority of the Chamber,” Mr. Honig explains. “It important to relay the economic realities Americans face to both elected officials and all those who communicate with them.”
Several other influential business and political personalities attended the dinner as well, including NYC mayoral candidate Nicole Malliotakis and Chele
“Pete Hegseth is an American hero, and a genuine friend of the Jewish community and the State of Israel,” says Executive VP OJC Dr. Joseph Frager and Duvi Honig. “We cherish our close relationship and wish Pete the best of luck as he continues to climb the highest ranks of journalism in our nation.”
