Police Dogs Narrow Down Escapees’ Route


Richard Matt and David SweatNew York police say that escaped murderers Richard Matt and David Sweat may be contained in an area between  the towns of Dannemora and Plattsburgh.

Search dogs picked up a scent that authorities believe is their strongest lead yet.

Helicopters and 500 officers are also searching the area east of Dannemora. Matt is convicted of kidnapping, torturing and dismembering his elderly former boss; Sweat is convicted of shooting and killing a sheriff’s deputy.

Cops believed they had “cornered” the pair two days ago but came up empty handed. Read more at Albany Times-Union.

  1. These Keystone cops are looking dumber by the day. The more they open their mouth and give comments, the stupider they look. With all of today’s technology you would think they had a shtikel clue of whats going on. Gornisht. And we as Americans are supposed to fell feel secure that the police/law enforcement is keeping us safe? WE are the ones who have to undress every time we take a flight? The police should have to undress, not us! They are the danger.

  2. These guys made it to the foothills of the Ramapo Mountains. They are in the “New Monsey” district know as Wesley Hills.
    The pair have converted to Judaism and are now heavily ingrained in the Carlbach minyan circuit; safe from outside intruders for evermore.
