Rabbi Dovid Price z”l

candle-small6It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rabbi Dovid Price z”l, longtime principal of Prospect Park Yeshiva Girls School in Brooklyn, NY. Rabbi Price was niftar last night at the age of 77.

Rabbi Price, a talmid of Yeshiva Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin and formerly of Brownsville, was involved in numerous tzorchei tzibbur and was a founder and coordinator for Hatzolah of Flatbush for many years. Rabbi Price suffered a stroke last year and had battled illness for the last while.

Rabbi Price is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leah Price, former longtime first grade teacher at Prospect Park Yeshiva, and three daughters.

The levaya will take place today, Wednesday, at 3 p.m. at Shomrei Hadas Chapels, located at 14th Avenue and 39th Street in Boro Park, Brooklyn. Kevurah will take place in Eretz Yisroel.
