It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Binyomin Rosenthal zt”l, who passed away on Erev Shabbos at the age of 69.

A noted talmid chochom, Rav Binyomin was renowned for his gemillus chassodim, particularly his efforts to help the disabled.

Born to a family of Karliner Chassidim, over the years Rav Binyomin was drawn to Gur and formed a close kesher with the admorim of Gur.

Together with his wife, Mrs. Chana Rosenthal, Rav Binyomin founded the Chesed V’emunah organization for special needs adults and children.

A man of grace and heart, Rav Binyomin was a chessed powerhouse. His love of his fellow Yidden knew no limits, and there was nothing he wouldn’t do to help those in need.

He was a talmid of Rav Asher Freund zt”l and one of the founders of Yad Ezra, which provides employment for special needs and disabled individuals

Rav Binyomin leaves behind a family following his ways. One of his children is Reb Aharon Rosenthal, noted askan in the Karliner community.
