It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rebbetzin Rivka Wolbe A”H, wife of R’ Shlomo Wolbe ZT” and daughter of R’ Avraham Grodzinski, of the Slabodka yeshiva..
Her husband, R’ Shlomo, was the famous baal mussar and author of the sefer Alei Shur. Together with R’ Moshe Shmuel Shapiro, R’ Wolbe opened Yeshivas Be’er Yakov, where he was the mashgiach ruchani for more than 30 years, until 1981, when he became the mashgiach in Lakewood East.
The levaya for the Rebbetzin will be taking place shortly.
