Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak Concludes Assignment


Russian ambassador to the United States Sergei Kislyak, whose clandestine meetings with NSA Director Michael Flynn led to Flynn’s resignation, has concluded his assignment in Washington.

The Russian Embassy in Washington announced via Twitter that Kislyak’s tenure finished this past Saturday.

Though Kislyak’s replacement has not yet been announced, Anatoly Antonov, a deputy foreign minister and former deputy defense minister, is most likely to be his successor. Read more here.
