Search for Aharon Sofer Intensifies


aharon-soferContrary to some reports, the search for Aharon Sofer in Yerushalayim has not been called off, but has actually intensified. Volunteers from all over Yerushalayim and beyond have joined Zaka members and other in the search in the Yerushalayim Forest.

Aharon, a son of R’ Moshe Tzvi and Chulda Sofer of Lakewood, NJ, has been missing since Erev Shabbos.

Meanwhile, a minyan of men traveled to Vineland, NJ, to daven at the kever of Aharon’s grandfather, Rav Moshe Eisemann  zt”l, for rachamei Shomayim.

Yesterday, an asifas tefillah was held at Bais Faiga Hall in Lakewood. Last night, another tefillah gathering took place, at Yeshivas Ohr Moshe in Lakewood, where Aharon was a talmid. The yeshiva is led by his uncle, Rav Binyomin Eisemann.

All are asked to continue davening for Aharon ben Chulda.

  1. The search is continuing, but, as far as I know, with only Hatzalah and Zaka participating. The possibility that he was the victim of foul play is being investigated.
    This is a horrible situation. My heart goes out to his family and I pray that he’s found alive and well.
