An attempted stabbing of IDF soldiers took place this morning near the community of Ariel in Shomron.
A terrorist approached the Salfit checkpoint and tried to stab soldiers stationed there in order to ensure the safety of drivers, who have, in the past, been targets of Palestinian rock-throwers.
The checkpoint is located at the A-Zawiya Bridge along the Ariel-Oranit Highway number 5.
The Palestinian terrorist was neutralized by soldiers at the checkpoint.
