The U.S. Military used a Christian NGO to spy on North Korea, according to an investigation by The Intercept.
Lt. Gen. William “Jerry” Boykin used the Humanitarian International Services Group to test-ship bibles to North Korea in a clothing aid package—to see if the same smuggling route could later be used for the Pentagon’s spy equipment.
Unwitting NGO employees were then used to transport the equipment around the country. Read more at The Intercept.
