Video: “Barry From D.C.” Calls Into Radio Show

obama1[Video below.] President Obama – identified as “Barry From D.C.” – called into news station WTOP’s “Ask The Governor” program this morning. After identifying himself to Virginia Governor Tim Kaine (left), the president quipped that he had “some questions about traffic in Northern Virginia.”

“But rather than go there, I just wanted to say how proud we are of your service as Governor of the commonwealth of Virginia, and just wish you and your family all the best this X-mas season after just a terrific round of service for the people of Virginia,” the president said.

“Well, Mr. President, that means a lot,” Kaine replied. “As I think back about my four years as governor, I still think my happiest day as governor was in November of 2008 and the great work we did together across the nation and in Virginia was spectacular and I’m excited to continue to be in service, as they say.”

Kaine, who is also chairman of the Democratic National Committee, is term limited and is stepping down as governor in January after four years.

“We continue to think that your wife is probably a little superior to you, as I think people feel about the First Lady,” Obama said later in the call. “You and me have to stick together, since we’re married to better people.”

  1. I agree with no 4. The comment by no 1 is exactly the reason why these comments should be banned. Do you think that the Obama government doesnt get to hear about such comments? It is irresponsible and possibly puts Yidden and their interests at risk.I also dont like a lot of what the Pres does, I dont have to, but we Jews need to be both grateful and careful.

  2. Why do a handful of people always see race in every comment? Comment #1 made no reference to race, yet 2 people who most likely see the world in black and white purported to find racism where none existed.
