This photo above speaks a thousand words.
It shows Rabbi Naftoli Schmukler of Chabad, left, of Corpus Christi, Texas, embracing and comforting Ed Flower, a business owner who’s store was destroyed in Port Aransas, Texas on Thursday.
During and in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, Chabad-Lubavitch centers in Corpus Christi, Houston and the surrounding areas mobilized to offer relief to the many stranded and affected by the hurricane.
Hundreds of volunteers continue to gather daily at local centers to help package and distribute food, clean homes and get supplies to those in need.
This heart-stirring photo was taken by Verónica G. Cárdenas for Chabad.org.
