Minister Ben-Gvir Injured in Car Rollover

A vehicle transporting Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir overturned following a collision in Ramla.

The incident unfolded subsequent to the Minister’s visit to the site of an assault within the city, where an 18-year-old girl sustained severe injuries.

His aides conveyed, “Upon departing from the site of the Ramle assault, Minister Ben-Gvir’s conveyance was involved in a collision. Minister Ben-Gvir remained in good spirits, conscious, and was subsequently conveyed for further medical evaluation at Assaf Harofeh Hospital.”

Witnesses recounted that Ben-Gvir’s automobile disregarded a red signal, leading to a collision with another vehicle, causing the minister’s vehicle to overturn upon impact. Law enforcement authorities disclosed that three individuals sustained minor injuries in the incident, with traffic investigators from the Central District initiating inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the occurrence.

Commissioner Yaakov Shabtai, present at the scene, was queried regarding the purported disregard of the red light by Ben-Gvir’s vehicle, yet refrained from providing a direct response. He assured that a thorough investigation into the accident would ensue, highlighting the surveillance coverage in the vicinity. “Every aspect will undergo meticulous scrutiny; with surveillance cameras in place, there’s comprehensive footage. We’re committed to conducting a comprehensive investigation, and the findings will be made accessible to the public,” asserted Shabtai.

In addition to the Minister himself, his daughter, chauffeur, one of his security personnel, and the driver of the other involved vehicle were also transported for medical attention.
