Flatbush – The Young Israel of Avenue J in Flatbush, Brooklyn, will honor its new rov, Rabbi Baruch Dov Braun, and his wife, Nechama, at an installation dinner on Wednesday, May 1.
Rabbi Braun assumed the pulpit at the Young Israel of Avenue J last year after having served as the assistant rabbi at the Young Israel of Hillcrest.
The Avenue J community has responded enthusiastically in support of Rabbi and Mrs. Braun and their family, and a strong turnout is expected at the dinner, which will be held at the Young Israel of Avenue K.
