The condition of Rav Shalom Cohen, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Porat Yosef and nosi of the Shas party’s Moetzet Chachmei Hatorah, has worsened and he has been moved to the intensive care unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center, where he was first hospitalized for a serious infection in his leg.
Rabbonim have called on the public to daven and learn to invoke the mercy of Heaven for Chacham Shalom, and to be mekabel Shabbos early as a zechus.
All are asked to daven for a speedy and complete recovery for Rav Shalom ben Tupcha Malka.
