30 years later and I still get the SAME question as I walk down the street!

Here are some of the things I learned that the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation are currently accomplishing:
- Their programs reach 6 continents, 22 countries, 350 communities;More than 52,000 students in elementary and high school use their curricula; 430 schools participate in their educational program; 25,000 callers use their three hotlines daily; 420,000 books are in print; 18,000 learning emails go out daily; and yes over 50,000 attend the World-wide Tisha B’av Event.
But no, to answer your question Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation is not only a Tisha B’av Event organization.
The Chofetz Chaim knew that Shmiras Haloshon was the best protection for Klal Yisrael; only if we would have compassion for each other would Hashem have compassion on us. He devoted his life to teaching Klal Yisrael what Hashem wants from us, what the Torah demands of us, what we could do to merit protection and salvation.
At the urging of the Manchester Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Yehudah Zev Segal, zt’l, the Chofetz Chaim Heritage Foundation took up this banner 30 years ago. As the world’s only organization dedicated solely to this purpose, year after year, it has taken its mission to new levels. As the years have passed, CCHF has initiated many ways of inspiring and teaching both young and old.
