An Oregon woman called police and said she threw her autistic son off a bridge, killing him. Police say Jillian McCabe, 34, called 911 at around 6:30 local time to report what she had done.
Within a few hours, a body was found in the bay downstream from the Yaquina Bay Bridge, along the Pacific coast southwest of Portland. McCabe was charged early Tuesday morning with aggravated murder.
Relatives reportedly said McCabe suffered a mental collapse while caring for London, her non-verbal and autistic son. London was six years old. Read more at NBC News.

skdoula’s comment reminds me of something a young woman said. The guy she was going out with said he would love to visit Prague because of the thousand years of history preserved in its buildings and monuments. She said “I have no interest in visiting Prague. There are no gedolim buried there.”
