This evening, The School for Children with Hidden Intelligence of Lakewood, known as SCHI, will hold its 14th Anniversary Dinner at Lake Terrace Hall on Oak Street in Lakewood. The guest speaker will be Harav Shmuel Dishon, menahel of Mosdos Yad Yisroel-Karlin Stolin. At dinner, Mr. Kevin Cummings, President and CEO of Investors Savings Bank, will receive the Man of the Year Award in recognition of his efforts on behalf of SCHI.
Rabbi and Mrs. Moshe Silberberg will receive the Avodas Hakodesh Award, Rabbi and Mrs. Avrumi Reich will receive the Kesser Shem Tov Award, and Mr. and Mrs. Dovid Rosenberg will receive the Staff Appreciation Award.
The dinner chairmen are Reb Mordechai Eichorn and Reb Michoel Rottenberg.
A special music presentation, with an original song sung by Shua Kessin and arranged by Shmuel Rosenberg, will be shown at the dinner.
The reception will get underway at 6 p.m., and the dinner will begin at 6:45 p.m. An open reception will take place at 8:15, with no reservation needed.
