Veena Malik, a Pakistani movie star, sparked outrage earlier this week with a tweet including a reference to Adolf Hitler that glorified the murder of Jews.
“’I would have killed all the Jews of the world…but I kept some to show the world why I killed them,’ Adolf Hitler” she declared to her followers, totaling over 1.2 million.
The quote appears to be made up, although it has been attributed to the Nazi leader by other people online as well.
On the same day as the Hitler tweet, which was subsequently taken down by the social network as a violation of its terms of service, Malik also came out with a more concise post accusing Israel of terrorism.
Other posts on her profile also include images of Hamas and Palestinian flags.
