The Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of Agudas Yisroel of the Yahadut Hatorah Gimmel party this evening approved the updated version of the Israeli draft law, and permitted the chareidi MKs to vote in favor of it in the Ministerial Committee for Legislation tomorrow.
The law is anticipated being approved in a preliminary reading in the Knesset on Wednesday. Additional details will be revealed this week.
In a letter written by the Secretary of the Moetzes Rabbi Mordechai Stern, he wrote, “We hereby inform you that since government representatives agreed to accept the wording of the draft law as proposed by the charedi representatives, and since this law will be approved by the Ministerial Committee tomorrow and Wednesday in a preliminary reading in the Knesset, and this summer the law will be voted in three readings with the consent of the government, our rabbis decided that our MKs will vote on the budget. ”
