  1. Couldn’t the Aguda just wait another few weeks until this election plays out in the courts?!! Instead, they decided to go the useless chanifa to the Democrats/attack on Trump route. It’s useless to ingratiate ourselves with the contemporary Democrats as no matter what we do, they will try to destroy our institutions and our way of life; while this move has a very real threat of destroying a very friendly relationship with Trump.
You can’t appease the militant yavonim, aka the contemporary socialist-fascist Democratic Party. At the very least, keep out of this fight, and don’t destroy a relationship with our friends. Apparently, the Aguda has been infiltrated by the Democratic Party operatives, who are willing to hurt the tzibur in order to receive some personal gain. Perhaps it’s time for the tzibur to stop supporting this organization.

  2. A horrible fawning statement and doesn’t represent those of us who were robbed by fraud. Why didn’t you wait until certification ?

  3. Scandalous letter and insult to 71 million of true legal voters.
Insult to all decent Americans. Biden is not president.

  4. Good evening, Rabbi Zwiebel,

I read with some surprise the congratulatory letter you sent to Joe Biden. Likewise, chat groups within my community have been alight with bewilderment as to why you would prematurely congratulate Mr. Biden when the election results have not been certified yet. If it is to curry favour with the possible winner, don’t you think it is premature to do that? It is plausible President Trump will be granted another term. In that case you will have put our community at a disadvantage.

My experience in politics would dictate that I hold my congratulations until the matter is settled. That way no harm is done. If Agudas Yisroel represents the Orthodox Jewish community and pre-election as well as post-election polling shows that our members voted for President Trump at a rate of 82-83%, why would you write a letter to our President’s opponent before the matter is decided???

If you really have our best interests at heart, you would not imperil us with this misguided missive.

You have let down a lot of people.

    Yours truly,

  5. What a chutzpah!!! Slapping their president and the very rule of law in the face! – Legally he simply is NOT “president elect”…

  6. We daven 3 times daily to restore our judges and advisors as before. This and other parts of our Tefillah become more meaningful and understandable as we move toward our Geulah Shleimah.

If we made independence of government (that is. taxpayer) funding a greater priority, we might see less flattery of wicked politicians.

  7. Yasher Koach to Rabbi Zwiebel and his entire team. This letter is perfectly sensible to all of sound mind and intelligence. We are fortunate to live in this medina shel chesed which, like all else, is an expression of He about Whom it is written “ain od milvado”. What is embarrassing is to see many of the common-folk within our Torah community put down great leaders like Rabbi Zwiebel who invest their lives in helping us. The embarrassment is more acutely felt when “unzere Yidden” use the tools of the nations, such as rallies, protests, fantastical claims, and cheap anonymous postings to make their ideas known.

    • Logical thought about the potential socialist hostile takeover of this nation, aided by myriad illegalities in 2020 vote processing, is not a tool of the nations. How much chesed will the socialists practice if they take over this medina?

    • This was not necessary and will help Yidden in no way, shape, or form. This party, it’s leaders and most of the radicals that are part and parcel of it, are sonai Yisroel. They seek to undo everything that President Trump did for Israel and the Jewish community. This letter is a disgrace!

    • Dear 12:25am Am Hooretz, you are the opposite of “sound mind and intelligence”. What’s even more ridiculous is you making yourself some kind of self-proclaimed elites by calling the real sound-minded Bnei Torah “the common folk”. You, who is staying up at the wee hours of the night and typing up stupid comments on the internet; not exactly learning, mind you. Wake up for your past-chatzos shacharis, you looser!

    • Absolutely agree. The tantrum of the outgoing administration (which telegraphed it was going to behave the way it did already months ago) is no obstacle for the Agudah behaving in the ways of Yisroel Sabbah. Yidden simply cannot afford to behave like shkotzim and obdurately persist in the ways of gaavah, akshonus and negation of the broader oylam, as if they were the baalei battim in a fremdeh medinah.

      • Dear 4:29, take your own advice of not behaving like a baal habais in this medina, and keep out of political fights – just shut up and don’t attack the current President of the United States. Yes, it is a hight of gaava and akshonus to come out proclaiming a new president while nothing is for sure, things can go any possible way, and the only thing that is certain is that you are slapping the current president.
Besides, it just happens to be that Trump’s administration has been most friendly towards our community, while Biden’s group of socialist-fascists is against us by their entire raison d’etre and are therefore unappeasable by anything other than our community end of existence, chas veshalom – no amount of chanifa would change their minds. The socialist-fascists are our enemies. All throughout the world, from Europe to Eretz Yisroel. They act as a global gang, and provide political and financial support to each other. Basically, the anti-religious Israeli judenrat elites have the power only through support of the socialist-fascists from the US and the EU.

  8. @ Ariel
Your support of a statement which lacks hakoras hatov to president who has done so much for America and Eretz Yisroel is abominable.
This election robbery was plotted years in advance. You and your ilk are politicians. Do not lecture us .

  9. “The embarrassment is more acutely felt when “unzere Yidden” use the tools of the nations, such as rallies, protests, fantastical claims, and cheap anonymous postings to make their ideas known.”

No ! This letter is an embarrassment and a stab in the back. You are ignoring investigations into the ballots, You couldn’t wait , though.
What a shame ! Unzere Yidden are you !

  10. They probably feel that the chances of Trump prevailing in the lawsuits are small enough that it isn’t worth risking being on Biden’s bad side by not showing support right away . There is nothing in the letter even remotely anti-Trump. All it basically says that it that we support the occupant of the white house no matter who is. They aren’t doing anything different than all the world leaders who called Biden to congratulate him.

On another note however I heard from someone whose father was a Rav in Warsaw during WWI that after the Germans captured Warsaw most of the establishment Rabbonim were unwilling to formally meet with the German officials over the fear that if the tide of the war changes and the Czar/Russia ends up recapturing Warsaw the Jewish community will find itselves in major trouble and be looked at traitors for having accepted the fact that Germany was then in control of Warsaw.

  11. Boy is this a disastrous move on the part of the Agudah. Whether the President actually wins or looses this election he will certainly be a powerful force to be reckoned with for quite some time. For the Agudah to jump ahead prematurely and slap President Trump in the face is an utter disgrace to mankind let alone to us Yidden.

  12. who is taking achrayis on all the yidden in jail who are hoping trump should pardon him. if the president is elected and you congratulate him is one thing, but at this point if there is no definite president this is called taking sides and supporting biden while giving trump a slap in his face and weakening him. after all he has done for yidden. aren’t we yidden taught hakoros hatov and to be a mentch and what about chillel hashem. In addition what a risk- what’s if trump ends up winning or he or his kids come back in 2024 you have lost his support and completely betrayed him!

  13. Mr. Mendoza , don’t you dare call us shkotzim. You reek from arrogant gaaveh and odorous elitism.
The oylam has thrown off the yoke of control freaks. We are free and stay out.
