amazonAmazon may have made money taking business from traditional bookstores, but on Tuesday the online retailer plans to open one of its own. Amazon Books is set to open its doors in Seattle’s University Village, using website data such as customer ratings, sales totals, and Goodreads popularity to determine which books to stock.

The company also plans to display its devices, giving customers a chance to play with Kindles, the Echo, Fire TV, and Fire tablets at the physical location.

Amazon also announced it would offer its employees 20 weeks of maternity leave and as much as six weeks for paternity leave.
