A senior member of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was killed in a drone strike along the Syria-Iraq border on Sunday, multiple Arab media outlets have reported.
According to a report from al-Arabiya News which cited Iraqi intelligence sources, senior commander IRGC Muslim Shahdan was killed in a targeted drone strike on his car.
The killing of Shahdan comes just days after the assassination of top Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.
