Levels of an antibody found in recovered COVID-19 patients fell sharply in 2-3 months after infection for both symptomatic and asymptomatic patients, according to a Chinese study, raising questions about the length of any immunity against the novel coronavirus.
The research, which studied 37 symptomatic patients and 37 asymptomatic patients, found that of those who tested positive for the presence of the IgG antibody, one of the main types of antibodies induced after infection, over 90% showed sharp declines in 2-3 months.
The research, published in Nature Medicine on June 18, highlights the risks of using COVID-19 ‘immunity passports’ and supports the prolonged use of public health interventions such as social distancing and isolating high-risk groups, researchers said.

I Dont know . My 3 boys were just tested now. Exactly 3 months since we all had corona. (March 21 – June 21)
Their antibody levels were 115, 169 and 84. Doesnt seem like a sharp decline….Although they werent tested in March.- maybe they had 1,000……..Also I dont have 37 boys…Maybe its not such a good study….
Tested for what? For corona? What is corona? Did you think into it or just parroting others? For 3 months you all had corona. What exactly did you have? The flu? Runny nose? Fever? Why are you fooling yourself that you had some sickness that never existed and will disappear when the criminals will be eradicated?
As long as not a single doctor in the world is telling us what coronavirus is, there’s absolutely no reason to panic, for social distancing and mask wearing. Since it’s only politicians giving updates about the corona situation and not medical officials as would be expected had it been a medical issue, we can easily understand that that this caroney baloney is a political matter. People were sick and died but it was not from corona.
And the Earth is flat, just I told Elvis and Jimmy Hoffa the other day.
Do you have a different idea of what this could have been? I was in the hospital with corona before Pesach. I’m suffering daily from pain and some organs have been affected. The attitude that there’s no such thing as corona is hurtful. I can’t imagine the pain you’re causing to the families of people who passed away. Please be sensitive to others.

1) A total of 74 patients? Why is that considered a statistically significant study?
2) Isn’t the IgG the one that is always short-lived?
3) What about COVID-19 can we we believe the Chinese?
4) There are IgM antibodies and the very important T-Cells both of which are found in Post COVID-19 patients. What about those?

Nope.
It’s the other way around.
The IgM antibodies are the short-lived ones.
IgG is supposed to last much longer. Often a lifetime.
I sure hope this study is in error.
To “prove this wrong”. Please prove to the world that grass is green. I say it is purple. Prove that the sun produces heat. I think it is cold. Heat comes from a different source. Did anyone ever touch the sun and report back that it really is hot?
By the way what did all those people die from? Even if it was not corona, some sickness did spread. It spread through many households, member to member. On my block alone and the next two blocks, multiple members of households caught the virus. It spread through my parent’s household and brothers’ households too. Some members of the house had it one week and others the following week. Some contagious illness was spreading. Did you ever consider proving that there was no contagious disease spreading. It is always easy to throw the burden of proving on others. I can do that too.
As of now there hasn’t been one person that has had antibodies that got it again. Look at the protests there hasn’t been a spiking in New York cause certain communities have gotten it. The African American community has been hit hard in March and April and no one is getting it.
IgM is the short term. IgG is the long term.
