At least one person was arrested Saturday at a neo-Nazi rally in the town of Newnan, Ga., according to multiple reports.
The National Social Movement holds a rally each year to celebrate Adolf Hitler’s birthday, and secured a permit for an event in the town. On Saturday, a few dozen members attended the rally there, carrying signs that disparaged Jews and African-Americans, USA Today reported.
Saturday’s rally is thought to be one of the largest white nationalist events since last August’s “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va. A woman was killed after a man drove his car into a crowd of counterprotesters.
