[COMMUNICATED]
For men in the Torah community with learning challenges, the traditional yeshiva or kollel framework does not provide the path they need to reach their potential. They may struggle with conventional learning, yet have desire to remain connected to Torah, build a family, and become productive members of the community.
Ohel Gershon seeks to build that bridge.
The program places Torah learning at its center while developing a vision for practical education and vocational training. Through a supportive learning environment, men can learn Torah according to their abilities while developing skills that can lead to meaningful work and financial independence.
The long-term vision includes a campus with a beis midrash, residential accommodations, workshops, agricultural training and other opportunities for hands-on vocational development.
The goal is simple: Torah in his heart, a trade in his hands, and dignity in his life.
Ohel Gershon is still in its early stages, but the learning has already begun. You can become part of this mission by sponsoring the learning of Maseches Kiddushin.
Full Maseches Kiddushin — $1,250
One page — $16
Half page — $8
Dedicate the learning לע״נ, for a refuah sheleimah, a yeshuah, or in honor of someone special.
Every page of Torah becomes part of something that can change a life.
