President Joe Biden, at a Democratic National Committee Winter Meeting Reception on Friday at the Sheraton Philadelphia Downtown in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, remarked that “I truly believe we’re living in an inflection point in modern history. It comes along every four or five generations, where what happens in a short period of time in a country or a cou- — or around the world has a fundamental effect for the next three to four decades.”

Biden went on to say that “Whether it’s — we’re talking about dealing with the climate crisis — look, if we don’t move on the climate crisis, we don’t — we’re going to see the — you know, the North Pole, as the kids would say — we’re going see those glaciers melting. We’re going to see sea levels rising up to three feet.”

Because of this concern, he said, “That means we carry a heavy responsibility, and it means we have an extraordinary opportunity as well — an extraordinary opportunity to build the future we want for our children and grandchildren. It hadn’t been available to us in the past.”

  1. Yes indeed the scientist in chief has spoken.

Global warming is such a threat to humanity.

Just look at Mount Washington where the wind-chill factore resulted in-108 degrees.

Yep those ice caps are really melting

But as long as Joe wears his aviators we are safe

    • They could be melting but has Biden made sense to justify a news focus when longer turning ns are needed?

This visits his mediocrity in office.

  2. The future wasn’t available to us in the past, but now it’s the present, which is much closer to the future than the past was, so now we have the ability to build for our children and grandchildren, who were also not available to us in the past when we ourselves were children and grandchildren, which we won’t be in the future.
