After more than 30 days with no rain in Eretz Yisroel, the Machzikei Hadas Bais Din of Belz has ruled that everyone should add a tefillah in Shemoneh Esrei for atziras geshamim.

Belz does this every year. Nobody else puts these out besides Belz. When I lived in Israel nobody paid any attention to it. Not sure why this is becoming big news?
