With great sensitivity, patience and warmth, Rav Lazar greeted every individual as he walked through camp. At the camp wide Kabbolas Panim, Rav Lazar had an opportunity to meet and spend time with an ecstatic group of Yaldei HaSheluchim. It was so special to witness the love and attention Rav Lazar paid to these campers as well as the hundreds of other campers and staff. While touring the beautiful Camp HASC’s adaptive campus, Rav Lazar visited the pool, therapy complex and sensory room, and spent quality time immersed in the Camp HASC spirit, remarking that “every inch of this campus is filled with Ahavas Yisrael”.

In sharing inspiring Divrei Bracha, Rav Lazar shared the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s message that everyone has a special shlichus in the world to fulfill, and expressed how impressed he was with the Mesirus Nefesh and dedication of the staff and noted that the counselors grow unimaginably by taking care of these special neshamos . “Hakadosh Baruch Hu promises that when you take care of His children, he will take care of yours”.

  1. Wow, how great.

Reb Judah Mischel, Camp HASC executive director, has a deep family history with Lubavitch.

Can they maybe make a special Chabad house at Camp HASC to strengthen their connection with Lubavitch and the Rebbe?
