Nevada Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto won her re-election bid tonight, solidifying Democratic control of the chamber. The Associated Press is among the outlets to call the race late tonight for the incumbent against Republican challenger Adam Laxalt.
The first Latina in the Senate was considered the most vulnerable senator in the midterm elections, and Republicans had hopes of flipping her seat. Laxalt, a former state attorney general, was endorsed by former President Donald Trump.
With 97% of precincts reporting, Cortez Masto was leading with a slim 0.5% lead as of late Saturday. The difference is less than 5,000 votes.
One word Stolen
Why the apathy of the Republicans? Why aren’t they taking to the streets and protesting the theft?
Agree for days they just sit there barely counting and then just suddenly find thousands of democrat votes!!!!!
Very depressing development. The Republican party is dying. America is dying.
You have to have the level of a vaxer to believe the Dems won more than 7%.
The media did their dirty anti-American deed, as they did last time.
