A Belzer chossid from the southern city of Ashdod moved the Belzer Rebbe this week after he brought him a shtender that his father used over 70 years ago in Tel Aviv.
The shtender was used by Rav Mordechai Rokeach of Biłgorai, Poland, over 70 years ago, in his home in Tel Aviv. It was brought by the chossid on the yahrtzeit of the Rav Mordechai’s petirah, greatly moving the current Belzer Rebbe.
“After I learned the details of how the shtender was brought, and I presented my estimations regarding its historic status, the rebbe said, ‘It is the shtender of my father zt”l.'”

what took so long?
Curious why it soooooo long to bring him his personal ירושה.
Also, his father was not Belzer Roov: his uncle was!
Wow. Mamesh a mofais! It’s a good thing he didn’t wait an additional 800 years to present it to the Rebbe.
The stender was being used. That simple.
