One of Donald Trump’s Republican foes in the 2024 presidential race, Chris Christie, is not buying the ex-president’s claim that he simply didn’t have time to sift through stacks of boxes at his Mar-a-Lago estate that allegedly contained classified material. In a heated Fox News interview on Monday, Trump suggested he didn’t comply with a subpoena to return any classified materials because he was just “very busy.” “Because I had boxes. I want to go through the boxes and get all my personal things out,” he said, adding that the boxes contained “golf shirts, pants, shoes, all sorts of things.”
Christie questioned whether “anybody in America” would believe that explanation. “I can tell you this, his lawyers this morning are jumping out of whatever window they’re near,” the one-time federal prosecutor quipped to CBS Mornings. He added: “When you think about how many days of golf he’s played since he left office, maybe he could have skipped a couple of rounds of golf and gone through the boxes to respond to a subpoena from a grand jury.”

What Trump said is more plausible then Christie claim he knew nothing aboythe bridgegate scandal or how about Christie lying about the not going to the beach when the government was shutdown and then being caught and photographed by a drone.
Christie isn’t a hoarder, and he probably didn’t have to move too often. I’m a hoarder. Every class, every lecture I went to I saved notes and handouts. When I moved my wife finally said the boxes of papers are not coming with us. In any event in my new apartment has very little storage space. Thankfully my old house was being knocked down so for about three months I would stop into my old apartment every night to sort out the papers “I really needed”. I do understand Trump.
Thank you for allowing yourself to be vulnerable and sharing your personal failings. The only advice I can give you is: when in doubt, throw it out.
I think Donald could do what he sees he wants. The grip he assumed was cross.
