  1. So what’s going to be with those that were relying on kimcha dipischa? I’m referring to all Shuls? Is that important mitzvah also out the window?!

    • Hopefully the Satan will not relish in the fact that he succeeded in curtailing this Mitzva’s kiyum too! All the needy Yidden from Israel who knock on our doors each night, visit us in our offices and come around to our Shuls to collect necessary funds are all gone!
Rabbosai, let’s be Maarbeh in Tzedaka! There are so, so many needy! Kimcha d’Pischa is one of the main Tzedakos the Chazaal so emphasized! It brings so much Simchas Yom Tov to others.

  2. Terrible decree! To which shul / kollel are husbands who don’t want to help their wives with Pesach going to run away to?

  3. Perhaps all the wealthy who are saving money by not going away for Pesach this year can step it up a few notches re: kimcha d’pischa. How about $1,000 for Pesach for every frum lower and middle class family? Step it up, rabbosai!

    • I’m positive the organizations will find a way. And yes, I think that if all those pple who planned on spending so much money for hotels should make extra donations since many pple that did work in israel and relied on their minimum pay each month are completely out of any money due to the lack of work. There is no wellfare in israel for the poor.

  4. “minyan factories”

Davening should be individualized עבודה שבלב, not a mass-produced, uniform, factory product, churned out at high speed.

  5. You can still find a minyan in Brooklyn. I just came from one. I can not reveal it’s location because big brother will shut it down. Besides my wife will kill me. I felt great Daven omg and I felt awesome being able to hear Krias HaTorah today Thursday.

    • I don’t know what you’re proud about. Some poskim consider you a rodef. You may get the virus and not even know you have it and G_D forbid pass it on to a vulnerable person. STAY HOME AND BE SAFE

      • You have nothing to worry about. You’re listening to the experts and are locked up in your house. You’re protected. The elderly are also locked up. What do you care if 10 people want to kill themselves? Stop with the fake sanctimonious jealousy. It’s payback time baby.

  6. To: “Wake Up Yidden” & The Frumguy:

Well said. Right to the point. First time in my life that I’ve heard of such a (‘formal’) “Institution” in a Community of “Frum” & “Committed” Yidden. Have they forgotten Rabbi Shimon’s injunction (Avos, 2:18); “…..when you pray, do not make your prayer a matter of set routine…..”.
As one who grew up in a Chabad environment, the importance of “Avoda Sh’Belev”, daily sincere Prayer & Supplication before G-D, as being ‘central’ to a Jew’s daily religious life. During my years in Yeshiva, I’ve had the occasion to witness “Emisdike” “Avoda Sh’Belev.
