A viral video shows an individual wearing a law enforcement uniform removing campaign signs and paraphernalia in support of New York State Republican gubernatorial candidate Rep. Lee Zeldin.

The incident occurred on Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn.

It is not clear who sent the individual, or if there were multiple such people, but the video appears to claim that they were ordered by New York City to remove the signs and flyers.

Sources aver that the individual – or multiple people – was not authorized by any police agency to do so, and that they were not sent by a City agency.

The video emerges as Mr. Zeldin has been rising in the polls and incumbent Governor Kathy Hochul numbers have been gradually falling.

  1. If she would be removing from someone’s front yard, this would be a real issue, but is it legal to place campaign signs on public property?
