  1. Maybe Maimonides is worse, but people die from routine procedures in EVERY hospital. The medical system is bankrupt and corrupt. First priority to protect themselves from lawsuits with useless procedures. Second to make money. Third to service the patient. Anyone who is medically ignorant and trusts the medical establishment blindly will chas veshalom get hurt. Hospital and doctor mistakes are the 6th leading cause of death in America! Literally hundreds of thousands of people. The best strategy is to EDUCATE YOURSELVES and not to place your blind trust in the hospitals and doctors.

  2. How’s that real estate working out for you in Long Island City, when you were so smart and bought up the place thinking Amazon was going to build a huge facility there, only to have AOC, who you supported, pull the plug at the last minute, leaving you with worthless property? If you’re asking public questions, are we allowed to do the same?

    • im trying to understand are you happy for his loss?
i dont know David but he brings up great points
what does his personal business transactions come to play in this discussion?

  3. These killings by neglect r’l were not covid related. What’s astonishing is during the covid crisis there were purportedly religious Jewish doctor’s who should have known about the neglect in Maimonides who were suggesting patients be admitted there! Then again, some on the staff were being Moser on people who were davening with a minyan. Tov shbrofim lgehenoim.

  4. Did he say who the three are??? NO complications??? NO covid??? It is so unusual……. we would hear of this all the time if this was massively accurate.

    • If there was taka intentional neglect or worse, the DA’s office should be contacted. That’s criminality. Letitia James should investigate the practices, or lack thereof, at this Hospital. Employees should be arrested. If nothing “illegal” was done, so what’s all this hot air and pomp? All my experiences with all emergency rooms over the many years in numerous locations have been lousy. No chiddush there. One is only allowed to get injured or sick during working hours, Monday thru Thursday 9-5. Get injured any other time, sorry buddy, you’re on your own. Especially if you get hurt on a legal holiday. OMG, might as well stay home and die.

What a dumb headline. My wife’s grandmother died in a Manhattan hospital because of pure neglect when someone forgot to reattach her to oxygen. My wife’s mother passed away in a Manhattan hospital because of Corona, and I have a niece in a vegetative state also because of neglect during a procedure in another Manhattan hospital. Stop with this attack on Maimonides I personally had 3 surgeries in Maimonides most of my children were born here. I never had any issues. I don’t want to negate anyone’s personal issue with Maimonides, BUT if you think a hospital is a 5 star hotel and the nurses are your personal maid then you’re the problem not the hospital.

    • My father was one of those three and another was a close relative. So before you call it a dumb headline check out the facts. 2 out of 3 that I personally know of and I was present during the whole saga of one of them. Yes the hospital was negligent and 2 relatively young healthy people died unnecessarily. Of course everything is from above but we live in this world and we can’t allow the hospital to be negligent

      • I don’t have to check any facts. As I wrote I personally didn’t have a bad experience at Maimonides but had close relatives who were hurt in Manhattan hospitals. I also wrote that I won’t negate anyone’s bad experience and I’m sure there is much room for improvement. Having said that, I still stand by what I wrote above and I would also add that the fact is we are a very close knit community When someone has a bad experience with a store or a hospital by the next day the mikva goers, the kava shtible drinkers, the kiddish hoppers not to mention his wife’s gym and pool friends will all know about it. The Manhattan hospitals don’t have to deal with this phenomenon
