Former President Donald Trump has responded to a Georgia indictment on Thursday by entering a plea of not guilty.

The indictment, which was issued on August 14th by a grand jury led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, accuses Trump and 18 of his allies and supporters of unlawfully conspiring to overturn the outcome of the state’s 2020 election. Originally set to be arraigned in person before Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee on September 6th, Trump will now be excused from appearing in court.

Among those indicted, three other co-defendants have also pleaded not guilty: former Trump campaign lawyers Ray Stallings Smith III and Sidney Powell, as well as publicist Trevian Kutti. These individuals will also be exempt from personal appearances before Judge McAfee in the upcoming week.

Trump is confronting a total of 13 charges in the indictment, encompassing allegations of violating the state’s anti-racketeering statute, engaging in conspiracy, submitting falsified documents, disseminating false statements, and soliciting a public official to breach their oath of office.

Recently, on August 24th, the former president was officially booked into Fulton County Jail. During this process, he underwent fingerprinting and had his mugshot captured—a historic occurrence, marking the first time a photograph of an American commander-in-chief has been taken under these circumstances.

Remarkably, this Georgia indictment constitutes the fourth legal action taken against Trump within a span of fewer than five months. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg previously unveiled a 34-count indictment accusing Trump of tampering with business records to conceal evidence of payments made to adult film star Stormy Daniels prior to the 2016 election.

In addition to these charges, special counsel Jack Smith has leveled 40 counts against Trump pertaining to the alleged hoarding of classified national security documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort. Furthermore, four additional charges have been brought against the former president, asserting that he unlawfully endeavored to retain power following his defeat by Joe Biden.

Among the well-known co-defendants embroiled in the Georgia case are Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor and Trump’s attorney, as well as Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff. Meadows has sought the transfer of his case to federal court, and a decision on this matter is anticipated to be handed down later this week.

  1. The Obama Biden DOJ continues they’re onslaught against their opposition as they are petrified that he will win reelection. I keep hoping and praying that people realize this for what it’s worth, the corruption of the left.

I guess it’s probably worth guessing that something big is coming down against Obama-Biden today or tomorrow. History repeats itself.

  2. Anyone with keen eyes here that can detect the difference of the fake mugshots (like Trump’s and Giuliani’s) and some of the others?
