Egypt, Germany, France, Jordan Meet To Revive Israeli-Palestinian Peace Talks

The foreign ministers of Egypt, Jordan, France and Germany met in Cairo on Monday to discuss ways to revive Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.

The group discussed “potential steps to advance the Middle East peace process” with a focus on “re-launching a credible peace process between the Palestinians and Israelis,” a joint statement read.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi told reporters the group wanted to “work to prevent all measures that hamper a two-state solution,” as cited by The Associated Press.

  1. who are we kidding? this is really just a veiled way to say we will assist the left wing parties in this election in the hope that they give in to all our demands

    so they will eliminate Abbas, Haniyeh, and Nasrallah, and create a populist party and or secular military dictatorship to control the Arab held territories in Gaza, the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Lebanon?
    Wow! I did not know that the Europeans were that forward-thinking.
