Elisha Yehonatan Lober and Yosef Gitarts Killed In Gaza

The Israeli Defense Forces officially announced the identities of two soldiers who were killed in the Gaza Strip.

As reported earlier here on Matzav.com, Staff Sergeant Elisha Yehonatan Lober, aged 24 and hailing from Yitzhar, served in the 8104th Battalion of the 179th Reserve Armored Brigade. He was killed during a battle in the southern Gaza Strip.

Sergeant First Class Yosef Gitarts, 25, a resident of Tel Aviv and a member of the 7029th Battalion, was killed in the southern Gaza Strip as well.

In a separate incident on Monday, two other soldiers sustained serious injuries amid the intense fighting in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, another reservist soldier sustained grave injuries during a battle in the northern Gaza Strip .
