A large atzeres hesped was held last night at the Lakewood High School Auditorium on Somerset Avenue in Lakewood, NJ l’illui nishmas Rav Chaim Kanievsky zt”l. Divrei zikaron were delivered by Rav Shmuel Kamenetsky, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva of Philadelphia; Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler, rosh yeshiva of Bais Medrash Govoah; Rav Shimon Galei of Bnei Brak; Rav Uri Deutsch, rov of the Forest Park Shul; and Rav Ephraim Wachsman, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Meor Yitzchok of Monsey.
