Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant convened on Sunday for a comprehensive briefing at the headquarters of the IDF’s 98th Paratroopers Division, where he received a detailed overview from division commander Lt. Col. Dan Goldfuss. The discussion covered operational endeavors and the wealth of intelligence gathered from the field and captured terrorists.
Later, Gallant engaged with a unit of soldiers from Unit 5353, known as the “Sky Rider,” commending them for their precise intelligence contributions that aid the maneuvering forces.
“After my visit to the 98th Division headquarters this morning, where I interacted with soldiers and commanders, I had the opportunity to speak with the soldiers of the ‘Sky Rider’ unit, whose intelligence-gathering efforts are instrumental,” Gallant remarked following his visit.
He further commented, “In recent weeks, we have apprehended hundreds of terrorists whose testimonies paint a clear picture. They reveal that Hamas is undergoing internal turmoil, bearing significant costs. These captured terrorists attest to the mounting pressure they face.
“Our operations also target all those involved in the events of October 7 – from lower-level operatives to high-ranking officials who were either present or issued commands. We will persist until we achieve comprehensive results across the Gaza Strip. Notably, we’ve made strides in apprehending both field operatives and senior commanders,” said the Defense Minister.
