The director of the Gerer Institutions in Israel, Rabbi Yonasan Bornstein, announced that Gerer yungeleit will be receiving an increased stipend of hundreds of shekels each month.
In a statement sent to Chassidim, Reb Yonason said that a new fund has been established under the name “Moseif V’holeich.”
Yungeleit who regularly receive 550 shekel a month will receive an increase of 320 shekel.
Reb Yonason said that yungeleit who have already acquired comprehensive knowledge in three hundred pages of Gemara will receive a scholarship of NIS 480.
