Ichud Hatzalah were on scene on Shivtei Yisrael Street in Yerushalayim after a 47-year old man was struck and critically injured by a van whose Arab driver was attempting to get away from youngsters who were harassing drivers.
Nachum Bernstein, a parademic with Ichud Hatzalah, said that the man was provided medical attention at the scene before being transported to Hadassah Medical Center, where he sadly passed away from his injuries.
According to reports, the driver backed up and then accelerated forward, pinning the victim between two vehicles, after some in the crowd attempted to light his vehicle on fire.
Warning: Video is extremely graphic.

The police hopefully arrested the driver for attempted murder!
Oh my goodness!!! Refuah Sheleimah!
…whose driver was apparently irate….
Let’s try some honest reporting. The Arab driver in question was being harassed, threatened, and physically attacked by young homegrown chayos, and he floored the gas pedal to escape.
Whether he was truly in fear for his life, or just desperate wanted to get away from those sweet Yerushalmi teens hasn’t yet been determined. The fact that THEY contributed to the fatal accident in great measure has already been established, by other charedi Yidden, who saw the entire incident unfold. Where were their parents?
You mean that the Arab was reported to have been smashing cars, driving the wrong way down a one way street and these sweet and innocent Jews tried to stop him.
he has died rl
and this was bound to happen
this has got to stop
where are the parents they are to blame
BD”E killed by a rotzeach
Did they arrest the Arab driver for willful murder?
Misrad HaBriut (Israel’s Health Dept) will take credit for that and declare he had coronavirus to keep their score up.
horrible please take this down
An eyewitness account confirmed by surveillance videos:
The Arab was driving down a one way street the wrong way and banging up cars. Locals tried to stop him. He kept slamming on the gas and ramming into cars. Eventually a group stood in front of the car and one youth, thinking this was another car terror attack, forced open the door to attack the Arab driver and get him to stop. At that point the Arab stepped on the gas and headed towards the crowd at full speed. One 40 year old stood in front of the crowd with his hands up towards the driver motioning him to stop. The driver paid no attention and crushed him to death. His hand was still raised while his head was crushed. The rest of the crowd managed to escape at the last moment.
The Arab escaped the scene, police searched for him until he showed up and turned himself in.
The Hospital who’s name was written in the van said that the Arab was not a driver for the hospital, and falsely used their name.
The Arab is still under arrest insisting he was attacked by a mob and lost control.
Israeli leftist anti-religious media, together with Israel police quickly jump on the opportunity to paint a false picture against Haredim. Sadly, other media sources have no way of receiving the facts and are forced to repeat the misleading information they are fed.

Marc, the Arab driver was driving the wrong way on a one way street which is next to Shvtei Israel street called Hachoma Hashlishit. What was the van even doing on that small street ?
Driving there on Purim with drunk Berland followers was not a good idea and then to purposely kill someone?
I do not think that this should have been posted.
Thanks for bringing up this incidence ,
what a shame , pity over this tragedy ,
too sad for Purim .
