GUIDANCE FROM RAV GERSHON: UTJ MK Yitzchok Pindrus posed several election-related questions to Maran Rav Gershon Edelstein.

“Someone’s son didn’t get into a local cheder and is angry at the Degel HaTorah MKs for not doing enough. He doesn’t want to vote for them.”

“A person doesn’t feel that he is part of the chareidi public. He doesn’t send his children to chareidi schools. Who should he vote for?”

  1. So in short, regardless of your religious or political affiliation he is saying, there is a Kiddush Hashem to vote for this specific party?
Noticed that at least one of the questions was in regard to somebody who does not feel and affiliation to this party (and presumably would not have respect for Rabbi Adelstein) if so what would telling them this encourage them to vote?
I am not questioning the gadol or his messaging, rather I am questioning who this is targeted to.
