Israeli Health officials sounded a cautious alarm on Sunday as signs that the coronavirus pandemic may once again be on the rise in Israel continued on Shabbos, with the virus’s basic reproduction number increasing to 0.87, Ynet News reports.
Known also as the “R-number,” the figure represents the number of people each confirmed patient infects, on average. Any number over 1 signifies infection is expanding. Although the current figure still points to the pandemic receding, albeit at a slower pace compared to just a couple of weeks ago when that number was pegged at 0.67 after weeks of constant decline.
Since the onset of the pandemic, 10,379 Israelis have succumbed to coronavirus-related complications, eight of them over the weekend alone.

Lies and more lies. Is this a warning from the government that they plan to go back to tyranny and oppression and persecution with the evil green pass and vax coercion? Bad enough that the indoor mask mandate has not been removed, when it is well-known that masks do not stop the spread of anything, other than social alienation, breathing in filth from dirty masks and skin problems. We have had enough.
If they have the green light and everybody just shakes their heads and follows their rules and regulations to this bogus nonsense, they’ll continue until Moshiach comes, hopefully very very soon.
