Former White House communications director Hope Hicks nearly left the White House months before she announced her resignation, according to New York Magazine.
Hicks reportedly told President Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner that she was unhappy in her role in August of last year.
The Kushners told Hicks she should wait for then-incoming chief of staff John Kelly to change the order of the West Wing.
